Job Description

As one of the biggest UK mail order catalogue companies with in excess of 4,000 unique products in our lifestyle solutions range. Due to our continued success we are looking to recruit some good candidates to join our Import Team. The person has to love the products and has far east importing experience

Daily Job:
•Stock forecast and control
•Putting orders
•Payment recommendations to CEO for payments to be made
•Ensuring all products are quality controlled and tested
•Accurate lead times and negotiation prices
•Reporting of sales figures on returns and savings
•Exploring relative new business opportunities in order to enhance the reach of the Easylife Portfolio product coordinating and maintaining the existing relationships with all key suppliers and initialising new ones. To ensure that all our suppliers from the Far East are aware of our needs and requirements and to ensure that our stock/products come in a timely and qualified way, effectively ensuring a smooth supply chain.

Main responsibilities:

Stock forecast and make sure goods coming in on time
•Ensuring all suppliers are supplying with quality products and the right price
•Explore new suppliers and opportunities for new products and existing products
•Overall ownership of the Far East suppliers
•Ordering and in
•Look and return levels and resolutions for all products
•Competitor analysis - keeping up-to-date in what products are also available in the market
•Attend trade fairs- often overseas
