Distinguishing itself from the usual Chinese restaurants, Goldfish is a recent popular haunt for the cuisine's admirers in Hampstead High Street. An elegant interior is reflected in its clean lines, airy and natural light filled dining area and sophisticated white clothed tables. Yet there is no dearth of a warm, friendly and informal atmosphere that welcomes diners into a lively ambiance.
Head Chef, Kevin Chow and his team bring in a very modern and unique twist to the preparations, combining traditional Chinese recipes with impressive French cooking methods. This jumble of two extremely popular cuisines coupled with excellent presentations results in dishes that include strawberry chilli chicken, crispy duck roll, stir-fry chilli prawns, braised whole lobster with spring onion and ginger, served with noodles, and steamed fillet of ocean Chilean Sea bass.
Think egg tart, custard bun and pan fried red bean cake to close.
