请问 。 去年 换了新护照。 就是 护照到期， 更新新护照。。
那也得去警察局注册吗 ？
如果到现在还没有注册 到时候会有什么麻烦 ？

After registering with the police and collecting your registration certificate, it is a condition that you go to the Nationality Department, with the following changes:
- New address
- Any new landing conditions
- Extensions to your visa granted by the Home Office
- New passport
- New study information or change to university/college
- New employment
Any changes should be reported within seven days.
Will I be prosecuted if I do not report any changes to my registration?
You may be prosecuted if you do not report changes to the details on your registration certificate or do not keep to your visa requirements. This could result in either a fine of up to £5000 and/or six months imprisonment.

那也得去警察局注册吗 ？ 是的，必须要注册。
如果到现在还没有注册 到时候会有什么麻烦 ？ 一般也不会有麻烦，虽然条款是写了会麻烦，但是就在LZ新的签证申请之前注册了就行了（我周围懒人多，貌似基本都是申请新签证之前去注册的。也没有为这个有麻烦的），不过有时间就早去。

本人不在伦敦，新护照下来后，马上去当地警察局注册。他们竟然不知道如何弄。给我填了个表格，把注册certificate，新护照，旧护照签证页复印了一下。就让我走了。说让我等信。这样行吗？？？新护照号码不是应该换一张新的certificate吗？也没有照相，也没有新的certificate，也没有给我个证明我来注册了。。。如果过了很久都没有消息该怎么办？
