我想讨论一下computer-mediated communication对我们日常生活得影响
影响有两方面:social, political
接下去就没idea啦

可以写的东西很多啊，就针对好处 (+) 和坏处 (-)写好了~
例如:
communication - long distance relationship (+), short distance relationship (-)
online shopping - convenience (+), cheating (-)
information - convenience & varieties (+), pseudoscience & rumours (-)
news - very quick (+), overload (-)
censorship (+) & freedom of speech (-)
entertainment - relaxation (+), “addiction” (-)
SOHO & new job opportunities (+)
social support & mental health (?)
sedentary lifestyle & health problem (-)
pornography, gambling, intellectual property (-)
research paper 嘛, 要点不需要很多，最重要的是有 research studies 来support 要点~

这个很好写的啦，我想你现在估计在读大2吧，我当初就写过这样的essay，多看书，还有handout， 一般老师让你写的内容那些地方都会有的

thank you veryr much!! yep that's true. the main problem for this kind of research paper is how to find the academic articles or books to support the points. i quite suck at this. can you give me more suggestions on this?

知道怎么找资料是非常重要的~
你可以请教你的导师或是你学校的图书馆管理员关于找资料的途径和方法~
不清楚你学校的情况如何，我大一的时候导师都特别安排让我们在课余时间上图书馆学找资料的方法~
还有的是要清楚 research paper 的格式，不同的专业可能会有不同的要求~ 
多做research， 然后idea就会越来越多，其实就是总结归纳你所看过的文章。如果有必要的话可以比较不同的idea。

建议你多看一些上课老师发的资料，往往老师提供的handout 就是重点，是希望你在essay里面提到的东西
有一本书推荐，一般大学里都会有的，书名是marketing research: the impact of internet 你需要的东西都可以在这本书上找到

my time is very limited. i have econ midterm and commerce midterm and english grammar course online quiz(this one is really hard) next week. how can i spend lots of time reading so many academic books and then find out the evidence to support my points?

the handout i got only tells us what kind of research topics we can choose and the requirement.
