1。4+考试都考什么?
At this young age, schools mainly look for social skills that suggest the child will fit into the school community. They will be looking for children who share and will socialise in a small group. They will probably read a story to check if your child can sit and listen, and they will ask questions on the story they have read. So you see that mostly, the assessment is about behaviour – taking turns to answer questions, sharing at play, and listening.
2。考试具体如何进行？ 下面这些活动是有些学校用过的。
Recognising and writing of your child’s name
Correct scissor use
Recognise numbers to 10 and/or count to 10
Doing a simple jigsaw
Threading beads
Walking down stairs - one foot only per step please
Checking for perfect speech and correct use of cutlery.
Put their own shoes on
Fasten their coat by themsleves
Go to toilet themselves without any assistance with trousers or buttons etc.
3。那里去找更进一步的具体信息？ 学校网站
比如The Glendower Prep School 的网站上的信息: “Prospective pupils are invited to attend in groups of 6 or 7 for about 40 minutes to be observed interacting by three or four adults… The skills being sought are mainly social maturity and readiness to learn in a group situation. Cooperation, flexibility, a “can do” approach and facility with the English language are all highly regarded. We are also looking for numeracy skills, letter recognition and a basic ability to follow instructions.”
4。如何准备4+考试？
如果上面说的那些就是4+的要求，那基本可以说不需要准备，这个年龄的孩子（特别是上过nursery的孩子）基本都具备这些social和personal skills了。注意事项的话就是考试期间让孩子有个好身体状态发挥正常。

但是找了私教（小学老师）准备研究你建议的以上资料—为了好的过渡转学 不要去了跟不上。
现在因为病毒 暂停私教。 等开始了了解多了会回来这里分享。
我只是想会不会这个现在学校怕大家幼儿园学好了 都考走了 。所以故意不教。 这样控制中途学生流失。

我家娃小的时候参加过一所selective 学校的测试，就是让娃们在一起上半天课，期间会让你读个简单的书，还有一些问答之类的，然后老师进行综合评估
