应该不是一个意思。我工资才18K。按工资来说真真是社会底层。。 
这些都只是台面上的收入。工作附带的福利很多的。不过英国人对钱的野心不大，一般不会以权谋私，通常都是知足长乐。尤其是很多英国大白人，工作很体面，房子竟然就一套。。难以理解的佛性思维。。

正常受雇的，遵纪守法的，真没多大意愿赚到那个超-高税率（40-50%）的钱，如果你不只是为了钱。
当然了，你有本事，直接给你个高薪的，另当别论。
那如果你做到很牛的级别，可以告诉公司你想到手net收入是多少，公司给你match ni和税钱呗
