按道理说普通英国护照可以免签入境半年，但是台湾方面说是对中国出生的英国护照持有者有特殊要求，我去台湾在伦敦办事处的网站上找不到具体是什么，你们有去玩过的知道这要求是什么吗？如果我从大陆出发可以吗？

holders of British National (Overseas) ，看清楚，你的护照是不是？British National (Overseas) 就是97之后香港人拿的那个所谓的BNO护照，并非真正的British Passport，BNO护照持有者不是British Citizen，除非BNO holder已经获取British Citizenship或者拥有其他国家的国籍，不然他们只会当作中国公民看待，所以去台湾地区需要特定的要求。

我去年发邮件给台北代表处问过，回复在下面。但是最后没去所以不知道具体是怎样。
Dear Sir or Madam,
For Chinese naturalised British citizens living in the UK, they may travel to Taiwan under visa waiver programme using their British passports as long as they can present/show Taiwan Immigration the proof of living in the UK in the recent four years (i.e… bank statements, utility bills… etc) upon entry.

我知道印度有要求入英国籍的巴基斯坦人必须提供书面放弃巴基斯坦国籍，才能让其持英国护照入境（虽然也要签证）。
谢谢回复。我是看机票先飞台湾不划算，本来就是回国顺便去玩玩。所以还是得从大陆出发。
