3年Tier2 dependant申请永居

情况比较复杂一下，
我的partner是2009年来过来读书，2013年1月以Tier2 General 开始工作，2018年1月满5年可以申请PR。
我个人自己情况，2010年开始以dependant来英国，后来在2012年换了学生签证，2015年1月换成Tier2的dependant签证。从2010年来英国以后两人一直住在一起。
在https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk/y/you-have-a-work-visa/tier-2-general-visa 上面说，
Eligibility for partners

Your partner may qualify if all of the following apply:

[ul]

  • they have permission to be in the UK as your partner
  • they’ve been living in the UK with you for at least 2 years if they applied before 9 July 2012 or 5 years if they applied on or after 9 July 2012
    [/ul]

从字面上理解，我是不是在2018年1月份的时候，可以跟我的partner一起申请PR？

请问大家有没有类似的情况？谢谢

是指dependant签证申请的时间，18年你老公申请永居的时候，你和他一起续签dependent

你中间转成其他积分制签证，2015年才重新申请成为他的dependant，所以只能按照5年的政策走。你配偶永居时，你续签dependant，直到你持dependant签证连续满5年才能申请永居

谢谢，可是我不明白，这上面说living in the UK with you for 5 years，并没有说一定要5年的PBS dependent。

“they’ve been living in the UK with you for at least 2 years if they applied before 9 July 2012 or 5 years if they applied on or after 9 July 2012”

有没有其他文件，比较具体地说明这个？

你看的只是简介页面，上面当然不会把细节全部写清楚，否则那个页面的内容就要几十页长了。。。PBS Dependant申请settlement的文件上有明确的说明怎么计算5年，是算签证。
