英国取消和暂停60所院校海外招生资格

2014年6月24日,英国移民局边防大臣James Brokenshire向下议院递交报告称将会对滥发学生签证的3所英国大学和57所私立学院吊销招收海外学生Tier-4执照资格。
而已经在名单上学校就读或者即将就读的同学，未来一段时间则需要密切注意移民局和各学校的进一步处理通知。

3所英国大学为：

  1. University of West London

  2. Glyndwr University

  3. University of Bedfordshire

注：57所被取消资格的私立院校名单如下：

  1. Alpha College

  3. APS Computer Solutions TA Pitman Training Centre

  4. Birmingham Institute of Education Training and Technology

  5. Blake Hall College

  6. Bloomsbury International UK

  7. Bradford College of Management

对于学校已经登上榜单的留学生来说，到底造成的影响有多大，又需要如何应对呢？

1、如果你还没有拿到CAS，请在未来几周内时刻关注学校相关消息，建议同时尽快申请其他有合法资质的学校；

2、如果你已经拿到了CAS，但还没有递交签证申请，请在未来几周内时刻关注学校相关消息。在没有收到进一步通知之前，请不要凭着CAS申请签证，因为申请会被暂时搁置。建议同时尽快申请其他有合法资质的学校；

3、如果你已经拿到了CAS并递交了签证申请，但是签证申请还没有进行处理，你的签证将会被暂时搁置，直到学校目前的情况得以解决。建议同时尽快申请其他有合法资质的学校；

4、如果你需要CAS来续签签证，并且签证在接下来的2周内不会过期，请时刻关注学校的相关信息等待进一步消息；如果你的签证将在接下来的2周内过期，请尽快申请有合法资质的学校。

5、如果你已经拿到了签证，或者是在读学生，暂时不用太担心，但还是要时刻关注其学校的最新相关消息。

对于暂停招收新的海外学生的2所大学，西伦敦大学(University of West London)以及贝特福德大学 (University of Bedfordshire)，这2所大学可以继续保留已有的学生，但不能招收新的海外学生。对于申请这2所学校的学生：

1、如果你还没有拿到CAS，建议尽快申请其他有合法资质的学校；

2、如果你已经拿到了CAS，还是可以凭此CAS申请英国签证；

3、如果你已经拿到了签证，或是在读学生，不用太担心，但还是要时刻关注其学校的最新相关消息。

总体来看，此次英国移民局行动快速、高效、波及面广，显示英国政府仍然把控制滥用学生签证作为控制移民的重要手段。

这次整顿的57所学校当中，有不少是周围华人朋友经常提到的学校，有些每年收取数千镑的学费，发了签证担保便不再要求学生到校上课，有些学校，只要学生按时来按指纹便万事大吉。
